About Angie
Angie is a charming young Beagle mix ready for a fresh start. This sweet girl is looking for a loving foster or forever home in the DC area. At about 2 years old, she weighs around 18 lbs and brings with her all the affectionate qualities that beagles are known for. Angie thrives around other dogs and is eager to explore her new environment. While she hasn't been seen with cats or children, the team is happy to provide guidance on introducing her to new family members. Currently, she's staying at Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus, waiting for someone to bring her home. A fun fact: Angie tested positive for heartworms but is receiving treatment through the rescue, so she’s on her way to a full recovery. Heartworm is not contagious and after treatment, she can lead a normal, active life. She simply needs a calm space for the first few weeks post-treatment. Angie dreams of delightful sniffy walks, dog school to showcase her smarts, and, of course, a plush dog bed for cozy cuddles. This adorable pup promises plenty of love in return. What do you say?
