About Wilson Pickett
Wilson Pickett is a charming Chiweenie ready to bring joy to a loving home. This young male, with a playful spirit, has a knack for capturing hearts, just like his musical namesake. At just one year old and a small size, he weighs about 22 pounds, with a short coat of beautiful red and chestnut hues. Wilson's journey began as a stray in China Grove, but he’s put those days behind him. Now, he’s eager to find a forever family who will provide him with love, belly rubs, and plenty of squeaky toys. This energetic pup loves to run and play, making him the ideal adventure companion. He thrives on chew toys, putting his busy teeth to good work. Notably dog-friendly, Wilson enjoys the company of his canine friends. While he hasn’t had much interaction with cats, he shows no aggression toward them or humans. He might be a bit vocal when meeting new folks; it’s his way of asking for a moment to assess the situation. But once you show him love, he’ll reveal his sweet and goofy side. Wilson is currently honing his leash manners and house training, so he’ll do best with a patient family ready to guide him with kindness and consistency. Beneath his spirited antics lies a loyal companion eager to curl up by your side after an exciting day. If you want a playful partner full of heart, Wilson Pickett is waiting to serenade his way into your life. Start the adoption process to make him yours!
