About Gus

Meet Gus! This handsome Australian Shepherd mix, born on February 16, 2024, weighs around 60 pounds and is currently in Pembroke, MA. Despite that challenging start, Gus has turned his life around and is now a happy, affectionate boy looking for a loving home. He gets along well with other dogs and has shown a friendly demeanor with people, making him an ideal companion for a family. Gus has also done well with children, but his compatibility with cats remains unknown. With a moderate energy level, he enjoys walks, playtime, and family activities. Like any dog adjusting to a new environment, he'll benefit from continued guidance and routine as he settles in. Gus has been treated for heartworm and is feeling great. He does have some dental damage from his previous living situation, which will be addressed before adoption.
