About Koda

Koda is a 1-year-old male Shepherd who arrived at the shelter due to an owner surrender, as his previous family welcomed a new baby. While he is currently learning housebreaking and has had some accidents, Koda is fully crate-trained. He exhibits a medium energy level and has shown wonderful friendliness, getting along well with children, strangers, and other dogs. He shows no reaction towards cats, making him a versatile companion for various households. Initially nervous in the shelter, Koda is becoming more comfortable with each passing day. Volunteers describe him as affectionate and playful, especially during playgroups with other dogs. His earlier anxiety has decreased significantly, and he now engages in playful zoomies in the yard and enjoys plenty of petting. Koda’s cheerful demeanor is hard to miss; he loves social interaction and does well with handling. If you're ready to welcome a lovable and spirited dog into your home, Koda can't wait to meet you!
