About Mulberry
Meet Mulberry, the charming white female Chihuahua pup. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have details about her past. Initially shy, she quickly warms up to people and loves to roll over for attention while often whining for pets on her hind legs at the kennel doors. Mulberry enjoys the company of similarly sized dogs, although her true passion lies in cuddling up with her favorite humans. Being a young pup, she has a tendency to explore her environment by putting her mouth on things that aren’t necessarily puppy-approved, like cords. It's vital for adopters to puppy-proof their homes and provide appropriate toys and chews to channel her energy in a positive way. Mulberry may do well with another dog or even a cat, given a thoughtful introduction. This little sweetheart is available from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, where her adoption fee has been graciously sponsored by a good Samaritan. Come meet her soon, just remember to arrive before 4:00 PM if you want to have a proper meet and greet!
