About Willow
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Willow—a brave little survivor now searching for the safety, stability, and love she’s deserved all along. For more than seven weeks, Willow lived outdoors in Campbell, Los Gatos, and South San Jose, evading capture despite many kind people trying to help. Thanks to community teamwork and a dedicated professional trapper, Willow was finally brought to safety on November 1st. With no microchip and no family coming forward, One Planet Rescue stepped in to offer Willow a fresh start and a second chance at happiness. Now safe in a caring foster home, Willow is making remarkable progress. What began as fear and hiding has blossomed into trust—she now seeks affection, finds comfort with her people, and has even drifted to sleep in her foster’s lap. Some amazing things about Willow: - Zero accidents indoors, showing she likely had a home before - Dog-friendly; she adores her foster dog sibling - Soft, gentle temperament - Smart, resilient, and a quick learner Willow feels most secure with another confident dog nearby, so she’s looking for a home with a friendly dog companion to help her continue building confidence. She’s dreaming of a foster-to-adopt home with someone patient and kind, who will let her move at her own pace. If Willow’s journey touches your heart, reach out to One Planet Rescue to help her write her next chapter. Fun fact: Willow was born January 10, making her a determined and practical Capricorn! This special girl has already overcome so much—now she just needs her person. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
