About Fig

Fig is a sweet German Shepherd mix who was rescued from the streets by one of our volunteers. Initially shy and unsure about walking on a leash, she has made remarkable progress and is now ready for her next adventure. At around a year and a half old, Fig is spayed and eager to find her forever home. Though she hasn’t met other dogs yet due to her recent surgery, we're confident that she wants to make friends. She does well on a leash now, although lizards can easily distract her as she loves to chase them. Fig is intelligent and quick to learn, so leash training at home will be a breeze. While new people can initially intimidate her, Fig's confidence has grown, especially when she spots a leash, prompting her to greet newcomers excitedly. If you're looking for a loyal companion ready to continue her journey, Fig is here waiting for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
