His foster family takes him on multiple walks daily, ranging from half a mile to two miles, and he delights in every step. One of Canyon's most charming traits is his playful exploration of grassy areas. On one of his early outings, he joyfully launched himself into the tall grass, reminiscent of an arctic fox in snow—truly a sight to behold! While he thrives outdoors, he has a knack for relaxing indoors too, entertaining himself with a Kong ball, tossing and pouncing on it like it’s the best game ever. Canyon is a social butterfly, always eager to meet new friends, be it people or dogs. He’s fully house-trained and has established great potty habits while in foster care. He’s still working on his manners, though—his enthusiasm can lead to jumps of joy when greeting people, and he may express his disappointment with an adorable whine if he can’t stop to say hello to other dogs. He does have a strong prey drive, so management and continued training will be beneficial as he grows.
