About Afro
Afro has officially retired from chewing, but he’s far from done charming everyone he meets. This 12-year-old Miniature Poodle weighs just 11 pounds and is a shining example of how a true gentleman only improves with age. Dressed in a wonderful coat of apricot and beige curls, Afro embodies class and has a knack for making people smile even before they say hello. His recent dental work left him with zero teeth, but that only enhances his unique charm. Afro wears his gummy grin proudly, adding to his undeniable handsomeness. He’s sweet, social, and thrives in the company of those who appreciate good companionship. Whether you're sitting down or doling out affection, Afro will keep you company and soak up all the love he can get. Life has shown Afro its rough side; after surviving a car accident, he could have become distrustful, but instead, he chose kindness and happiness. Each day starts with a wag, showcasing his gentle spirit and confidence that every day is a blessing. He’s now searching for a family to cherish him during his golden years, appreciate his adorable grin, and care for his fluffy coat. Afro has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his vaccinations. If you can open your heart and home to this distinguished little gentleman, he’s ready to make it his own. Requirements include a meet-and-greet with everyone in the household, dog introductions if applicable, and a home check. We don’t do out-of-state adoptions. Adoption Fee: $125.
