Cooper is a sweet-hearted and playful dog who adores his ball and the company of people and other dogs. At about one year old, this affectionate black lab mix weighs around 50 lbs. He has an easygoing demeanor; if another dog gets a bit too pushy, he simply rolls over and shows his belly. Smart and eager to learn, Cooper picks up commands quickly, grasping 'sit' and 'shake' in just a couple of days. He walks nicely on a leash and is both potty and crate trained. During the day, he enjoys resting in his crate, where he sleeps soundly. While he may bark a few times when left alone initially, he settles down soon after. Cooper has a good amount of energy, needing two longer walks a day to help keep him happy. He thrives on affection and enjoys cuddling close with his humans.
