Meet Smokey, a striking young male with a sleek black coat, just over a year old and weighing in at a comfortable medium build. Recently rescued in the nick of time, Smokey has made a big impression with his affectionate personality and boundless energy. He thrives on long hikes and enjoys every chance to get out in nature. Smokey walks nicely on leash, plays a mean game of fetch, and is well mannered—he takes treats gently and never oversteps with his enthusiasm. This easygoing guy gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for multi-dog households. He has also shown he does well with children. He’s house trained and up to date on vaccinations, and as an Aquarius born in early February, he brings a unique spark and curiosity to everything he does. Smokey is looking for someone ready to make a real commitment, open to fostering or adopting, and long walks are a must; he loves staying active.
