About Carson
Carson is in urgent need of a foster home. Life hasn’t been easy for him since his rescue in 2018. He was saved from euthanasia in South Texas after suffering a foot injury, but since then, he’s bounced through various homes, facing challenges along the way. This senior German Shepherd thrives best in a calm environment, away from the hustle and bustle. After spending years with his owner, Carson found himself back in a shelter when his owner passed away. He returned to a familiar foster home, but the stress of living with another dog he didn’t get along with was overwhelming. One incident led to Carson being labeled dangerous when he bit a landscaper reaching over the fence. Thankfully, we were able to step in and bring him back to safety. Now, Carson is in a boarding environment with caring past fosters. He's shown remarkable improvement, becoming much more relaxed than in his earlier years. While he attends events without issues, it’s crucial that his next placement is carefully considered due to his history. Carson does not get along with children, and the right home for him would keep him safe and secure. He would absolutely flourish in a loving foster home for his senior years. Prior to adoption, in-person meet and greets are required to ensure a good fit. Little is known about his exact weight or coat length, but despite his past, Carson is ready to find comfort and companionship. His birthday is October 23, making him a Libra. It’s time for Carson to enjoy a peaceful life. Ready to give him a loving home?
