Darlene is a sweet-natured cat who found her way to us after being rescued from the Austin City Pound, just days before she was to be euthanized. She’s likely between 9 months to 1 year old and has already faced some challenges. After coming to us pregnant, she unfortunately lost her kittens and required an emergency spay due to infection. Thankfully, she has recovered well and is now spayed and up to date on vaccinations, having tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Darlene enjoys the company of people and gets along with other cats. She is house trained and ready to find a loving indoor home. Please note that you must be at least 21 to adopt from Mower County Humane Society. The total adoption fee will be discussed during the process, and a pet carrier is necessary on adoption day.
