About Franklin

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Franklin arrived at the shelter after being found on his own in NE Austin, and since coming to MCHS on March 9, 2024, he has shown himself to be a friendly guy who enjoys spending time with people. While he loves attention, Franklin would thrive best in a home without younger children and as an indoor cat. He can be a bit unsure around other cats, so a quieter household or one without multiple cats might suit him best. Franklin is now neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and has been tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. At approximately 2 to 3 years old, this gentle tiger-striped and gray and white boy is ready for a new chapter where he will be cherished and spoiled. Adopters need to be at least 21 years old and provide a pet carrier at adoption, ensuring Franklin gets to his forever home safely. He deserves the comfort and love of an indoor, safe environment.
