About Harrington
Meet Harrington, or Harry as his friends call him! This 8-month-old Husky mix weighs about 60 pounds and embodies the playful spirit of a typical teenage Husky—funny, goofy, and affection-filled. With his striking blue eyes and tall frame, he always turns heads wherever he goes. Harry thrives on activity. He enjoys carrying toys, digging them out of the basket, and even showcasing his zoomies from time to time. Once he’s burned off that playful energy, he’s quite content to relax with his human companions. This smart boy is house trained and can navigate his foster home with ease. He walks nicely on a leash and is learning basic commands. He adapts well when corrected by other dogs, showing he pays attention and respects his furry friends. Harry adores other dogs and would love a canine playmate, although he can be perfectly happy as your only pet. One of his greatest joys is spending time with people. He is a true cuddlebug who enjoys hugs and bedtime pets. He sometimes prefers a cool tile floor to sleep on rather than your bed, but he’ll happily hop up for a goodnight snuggle. While still refining his puppy manners, he’s making great strides, especially with food temptations and sharing toys. Harry’s ideal home will be well-suited for an intelligent, active dog, offering daily exercise and companionship. He doesn’t need to run marathons but will appreciate regular walks and play sessions to keep that sharp Husky mind engaged. All dogs from Heart of America Humane Society are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. You can adopt Harry for a fee of $250.
