About Cosette

Cosette is currently thriving in her foster home and is ready to meet her future family. At just three years old, she came to Heartland after a dramatic rescue, where dedicated volunteers saved her from hiding underneath a truck. Initially found very matted and dirty, she’s since received care that has helped her become comfortable and confident. Now, Cosette loves to play and cuddle with her foster parents, who describe her as a delightful mix of playful energy and a loyal couch companion. While she can be timid with new people and environments, she warms up quickly and enjoys the company of her humans. Cosette is house trained on a schedule and can stay independently while you work. Her ideal home is one that will provide stability and encouragement as she explores the world outside. Cosette has shown she can learn to walk on a leash, go potty outside, and even trust again; she just needs someone patient to help guide her. This little one deserves a chance to leave her past behind and embrace the joy of a loving home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
