About Otto

Meet Otto, a 4–5-year-old blue and white dachshund mix weighing 26.2 pounds. His big, beautiful eyes are filled with hope and a gentle spirit. Otto came from a heartbreaking hoarding case where he lived with 35 other dogs under terrible conditions. Initially scared, he has blossomed in foster care, showing a strong desire to trust and love. His skin issues have been resolved, revealing a stunning silver-colored coat. Otto thrives on affection and will melt into your lap, transforming into a true lap dog with a little time and love. In the yard, he plays joyfully with other dogs, ranging from large pit bulls to playful puppies, making friends easily. Otto is respectful around cats too; during a recent encounter, he backed off with curiosity when a cat hissed. He’s smart, eager to learn, and has become well-mannered on a leash, as well as in his crate, where he stays clean day and night. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations, Otto is ready for a forever home. If you seek a sweet and gentle companion with a heart full of love, Otto could be the perfect fit.
