Gingy
AvailableGingy is a 3-year-old neutered male domestic short hair cat, known for his sunny orange and white coat. He is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. While he prefers a calm home environment, he flourishes when around other cats and should not be adopted into a home without them. He's located in Inver Grove Heights, MN and is ready for a nurturing adopter who understands his reserved nature.
About Gingy
Gingy is a calm and reserved cat who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. He loves to eat, sleep, and watch the world go by from the comfort of his window perch. While he will occasionally engage in playful swatting at a wand toy, he prefers to observe his surroundings and the antics of his fellow foster cats. Recently, Gingy has been learning to navigate new situations, though he’s still quite nervous. He initially hid behind a chest for weeks, only emerging when the room was empty. With patience, he’s started to trust his foster mom, greeting her at the door with delightful meows when he’s ready for dinner. Although he enjoys gentle petting, he prefers short interactions and requires a patient adopter who can respect his boundaries. Gingy arrived from Honduras alongside another foster cat named Moonie, and they share a strong bond. They would make an ideal pair for someone looking to welcome two cats into their home. Gingy thrives in the company of other cats, and he needs a home that can provide that. Loud young children may overwhelm him, so a quieter household would be best. Gingy is currently in foster care and is ready to meet his special person.
