About Rye
Meet Rye. Rye is a sweet, sleepy little guy who enjoys napping in funny positions and is an expert cuddler. He's crate-trained, sleeps through the night for a full eight hours, and did remarkably well with potty training, having only a few early accidents. In new situations, he might hold off on going potty until he feels secure—he just needs a little reassurance. This smart pup already knows commands like Leave it, Sit, Come, Down, and Go to your crate. Rye is naturally shy and sensitive, especially around new people and dogs. Instead of being bold and outgoing, he’s a gentle soul who takes his time observing the world around him. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate personality shines brightly. He forms deep bonds with his caregivers and becomes an incredibly devoted companion. Rye would thrive in a patient, calm home that allows him to build his confidence at his own pace. If you are looking for a tender-hearted, loyal friend, Rye is your match.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Rye enjoys spending time outdoors, so having a secure yard would be ideal. However, he’d also do well with regular walks in a quieter setting where he can feel more at ease.
