Meet Rudolph Rudolph is a super sweet, two-year-old Lab mix who is ready for a fresh start and a forever home. He weighs about 52 pounds and has a friendly nature that makes him a joy to be around. Rudolph likes kids and does well with other dogs. Because of his exuberance, he should be with older children. He does not get along with cats, so a cat-free home will be important for him. Despite a rough beginning, he has a loving disposition and shows how much he wants to connect with people. He even knows how to sit on command, which is a wonderful foundation to build on. Before rescue, Rudolph was living outdoors on his own and doing his best to survive. He was finally caught when he attempted to swipe a Walmart delivery order from someone’s porch, a moment that highlighted just how desperate he was for food and care. Thankfully, that chapter is behind him but he needs a family who has time for him. Rudolph is currently in boarding and available for adoption. He is looking for a loving family who will provide the stability, care, and affection he has been missing, so he never has to fend for himself again. Even though he is past the puppy age, Rudolph exhibits energetic puppy like behavior and will need a family committed to his training. If you are looking for a loyal, kind-hearted companion with a memorable story and a lot of love to give, Rudolph may be the perfect addition to your family.
