About Socks

Socks is a 2-3 month-old female Labrador Retriever mix with a short black and white coat. She was found along a Texas highway with her sisters, left behind after their brothers were picked up. Despite a rough start and a heavy flea and tick infestation, Socks has received her first round of vaccines and vet care to get her back on track. She’s got a sweet, friendly personality—playful, energetic, and always ready to cuddle. Socks gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a versatile fit for many families. Right now, she’s being fostered in Texas, but if adopted, she’ll travel to the NJ area on the next transport. Socks is not yet house trained, but typical for her age and energy, she’s eager to learn and bond with her people. Click apply to start the adoption process.
