This handsome 3-4 month old Catahoula mix is already turning heads everywhere he goes. Catahoulas are known for their intelligence, athleticism, loyalty, and strong personalities. They're incredible dogs, but they're not a breed to choose based on looks alone. As adults, they can be challenging for inexperienced owners and thrive best with families who understand the breed's needs for training, structure, socialization, and mental stimulation. We encourage potential adopters to research the breed and make sure they're prepared for the commitment. Unlike his more outspoken brother Atlas, Ace is a little quieter in nature. Don't mistake that for being shy, though! He's still a playful, confident puppy who enjoys wrestling with other dogs, playing with kids, and soaking up attention from his people.
