Taquito is a charming little guy who comes to us from the streets of Mexico, thanks to Compassion Without Borders. He has been in our care for nearly a year, initially meant to be a permanent resident, but it turns out he doesn’t get along with male dogs. This senior Chihuahua needs a peaceful and loving home where he can be the only dog or live with a submissive female. At just around 6 pounds, he can be a bit grumpy towards other male pups since he has no teeth to defend himself. Even at approximately 12 years old, Taquito is filled with love and life. He enjoys snuggling in bed, soaking up the sun, and relaxing during the day. His happiest moments come when he curls up under the covers at night.
