This sweet girl has blossomed into the perfect combination of outdoor adventurer and couch companion. Millie loves making the most of every day. Whether she's hiking miles of scenic trails, playing fetch in the yard, joining the family for errands, or riding shotgun on a car adventure, she's always eager to be part of the action. She recently conquered a 6.2-mile hike at Wachusett Mountain like a champ and politely shared the trail with people, children, and dogs alike. When the adventures are over, Millie transforms into a world-class snuggler. She loves curling up on the couch, soaking up belly rubs, handing out gentle kisses, and settling in with her favorite chew toy. One of her most adorable quirks? She loves blankets and will happily tuck herself completely underneath one for a cozy nap. Sometimes she even perches on the back of the couch like a cat! Millie is fully house-trained, smart as can be, and eager to learn. She already knows sit, down, paw, and fetch, and she's working on adding even more tricks to her resume. Since she's highly food motivated, training is both fun and rewarding for her. She gets along well with other dogs and could also live with dog-savvy cats Like many dogs who have been through a lot, Millie has a few things her future family should know. Some unfamiliar men can make her nervous at first, but patience, treats, and positive introductions help her warm up quickly. She also takes her freedom very seriously-if she gets loose, she'll happily turn it into a neighborhood adventure! Because of this, her family will need to be diligent about leashes, doors, and secure outdoor time. What makes Millie truly special is her joyful spirit. Despite the challenges she's faced, she wakes up every day ready for fun, affection, and whatever adventure comes next. She is ready to start the next chapter of her life.
