Julep is truly one of a kind - tri-color, a funny little face, TWENTY FIVE TOE BEANS, and enough sass for a whole litter of kittens. She is stunningly beautiful and brimming with personality. Found on the highway at just a few weeks old, life didn't start out easy for this girl she was loaded with fleas, skinny as could be and understandably distrustful of humans. It was no easy feat getting her healthy, in part because her unique face shape causes her to get stuffy frequently, but once she did, her true colors came out. Julep LOVES a lap nap. She will find a cozy spot with you on the couch and purr as she makes biscuits (usually with her tongue out). She loves attention - both from humans and other cats. She's wildly adventurous - there is no place too high for her to explore. She loves to jump, climb and steal toys from her friends. Her playful energy is infectious and all of her foster friends take turns wrestling and exploring with her. Though she has come a long way, her rough start has left some lasting affects on Julep, so we feel she would do the best in a home with cat saavy adopters. She absolutely loathes trips to the vet. And she really does not enjoy her 25 claws being trimmed. It is definitely a two person job. She is not a fan of medication and will put up a fight if you try to get it into her. We are hoping that all of her wonderful qualities will be enough for someone to help her in the more stressful moments in life. She is surely worth it. And while she doesn't have a bonded buddy, she is incredibly social and MUST go to a home with other young, playful cats or be adopted out with another cat that is pair of kittens. Solo kitten life is not for her. Julep gets along well with respectful dogs and older kids. Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).
