About Vader

Click apply to start the adoption process. Vader is a gentle soul who is just under 2 years old, boasting a luxuriously sleek black short coat adorned with a tiny white patch on his chest—a small sign of his unique personality. He spent his early days outside in a cat colony, coming into rescue thanks to a kind cat lover. Quiet and a bit shy, Vader is learning that humans have gentle hands and kind hearts. Initially, he might keep his distance, but with patience and understanding, his sweet and observant nature begins to shine. Having found comfort in the company of other cats, Vader would flourish with a calm, feline friend in the home to help him blossom with confidence. A peaceful home with a patient adopter is what Vader truly needs—someone who understands that trust takes time and that sometimes the quietest companions offer the deepest love in return. If you are drawn to shy cats and have a gentle kitty companion already, Vader might be the perfect new addition to your family. Thanks to a grant from the PetFinder Foundation, Vader's adoption fee has been reduced by $100 (now $150). All cats are tested negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered, and come microchipped (with free lifetime registration). You'll also receive a "Go Home Goody Bag," including starter food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of Trupanion pet insurance. Fun fact: With a birth date of March 12, Vader is a Pisces—a sweet sign known for empathy and gentleness! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
