About Chucky
Chucky is a petite little guy eagerly seeking a foster or adoptive home. He made his way to Wisconsin recently, bringing along his best puppy-dog eyes, hoping to win someone’s heart. Instead, he finds himself still waiting for that perfect family. His story begins just before Halloween, when Chucky was discovered abandoned in a box by a community mailbox. At just 5-6 weeks old, he faced overwhelming odds stacked against him: covered in fleas and battling parasites. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan came to his aid, and from that moment, he began his journey to recovery. With proper care and lots of love, Chucky has transformed into a playful and healthy pup. At 8-9 months old and weighing about 25 lbs, he's the ideal companion for adventures, embracing life with a wagging tail and an affectionate nature. He loves toys and playtime without being too demanding and is well behaved around people and other dogs. Chucky wants nothing more than to find a couch to nap on and a family to call his own. His spirited personality shines through each day, and he’s ready to make a lifetime of memories with a loving owner. If you’re preapproved, reach out; if not, consider applying at newleashdogrescue.com to help give Chucky the loving home he deserves. He’s ready to bring joy into someone’s life. Are you the one?
