They say every dog has a story, and Tobias is ready to start his favorite chapter yet: the one where he finally finds a family that stays. This handsome, 12-week-old Coonhound/Ridgeback mix is a total sweetheart who has not let a bumpy start dampen his spirit. After being caught in the middle of a move when his previous owners parted ways, this resilient boy is ready to bring his goofy, playful, and affectionate personality into a home that will love him for a lifetime. He is already proving to be the best houseguest, doing fantastic with his house-training and showing he is a pro at crate training, viewing his crate as his own cozy, safe den where he likes to relax after a good day of play. At just 12 weeks old, he is full of curiosity and charm, and with an estimated adult weight of 50 lbs, he is the perfect size for a lifetime of adventures. Tobias is a big mush at heart, a gentle soul who just wants to be close to his people and will happily listen to your day or keep your feet warm while you relax. To ensure he has everything he needs for a fresh start, he comes fully up-to-date on all his vaccinations and is already microchipped for his safety. We are also deeply committed to his long-term health, so our rescue will cover his neuter surgery once he reaches 6 months of age. Tobias is simply looking for a family that understands he has plenty of love to give and is ready to settle into a consistent, happy life. He has shown such incredible maturity throughout his transition, and it is clear he is just waiting for that someone special to recognize what a prize he is. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet.
