Georgia is smart, spirited, and full of personality! She's housebroken, crate trained, and happiest when she has a routine, good walks, and her people close by. She's a cuddle bug. She loves naps, curling up under the blanket with you, chewing on her toys, and taking her post on the couch to monitor the yard for squirrels, rabbits, birds, and any delivery vehicles that get too close. She's recently discovered fetch and keep-away, walks great on a leash, and loves to run - a fenced yard would be a dream for her. She does well with other dogs but likes to be in charge, so she'd do best as an only dog or with a laid-back companion who doesn't mind her taking the lead. Georgia is protective of her home and wary of strangers, and she's vocal about it - doorbells, loud noises, and vacuums are not her friends. She'll need a patient adopter willing to keep building her confidence. A cat-free home and no small children are also recommended. One more thing to know: she currently requires sedation for nail trims. She loves with her whole heart. For the right person, she will be completely devoted.
