He was extremely underweight, suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection, and his coat was so badly matted that he had to be completely shaved down. Despite everything he endured, Mr. Softie has remained one of the kindest, most loving dogs weve ever met. Today, he is thriving and steadily gaining weight, though he still has about 5 pounds to gain. We expect him to settle in around 1820 pounds at a healthy weight. Mr. Softie has a calm, gentle nature and loves everyone he meets. He is wonderful with children, gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, enjoys car rides, and never turns down a pup cup. Hes an easygoing companion who simply wants to be close to his people. He also knows basic commands such as sit and down and is eager to please.
