My name is Angel, and I am a two-year-old miniature Poodle mix. Just weeks ago, I had a family, a warm couch, and a life full of love. But my world changed overnight when they faced a sudden hardship and had to move somewhere that didn't allow pets. My family couldn't even afford to properly groom me, fix me, or get me the medical care that I needed. But this wonderful rescue took care of all of that for me, and they took all the painful mats off of my coat. Now, I am completely vet checked, spayed, beautifully groomed, and ready to go! I weigh under 15 pounds, which means I am the perfect size to curl right up into your lap. I get along with most dogs, but if they are too dominant or obnoxious, I prefer to keep my distance. The rescue group gave me a safe, warm place to rest my head and has been showing me so much love while they help me look for my new forever family. I am house-trained, very polite, and my tail gives a hopeful little thump every time someone walks by.
