Meet Rocky! Rocky is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees with a remarkable journey. Rescued after being found on the streets with porcupine quills in his face, he received excellent care and has made a full recovery. Now, he’s feeling great and ready for a new home. Though Rocky is somewhat shy around new people, a little patience is key. Once he trusts you, his affectionate nature comes out. He thrives on attention, especially head scratches and belly rubs from his favorite humans. However, he'd prefer to be the only dog in the household, as he doesn't get along with other dogs. We can conduct a cat test if you're interested, but we don’t know how he reacts to them. Rocky also shows some possessiveness over his toys and food, so a home with children aged 12 and older would be ideal, where they can understand and respect his boundaries. After all he's been through, Rocky deserves a patient, loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, Rocky might just be the one for you!
