Beauty N Beastie Boy are a bonded pair of Great Pyrenees rescued after months surviving on their own in the Green Ridge State Forest near Oldtown, MD. Beauty is about two years old and has a classic long, white and cream coat. Life has not been kind to them, and they’re both hand-shy—if you raise your voice, they lower their heads and turn away, but there’s never any aggression. Despite their rough start, they are loving and loyal dogs who have adjusted well in foster care; both are vaccinated, spayed and neutered, wormed, and microchipped. They’ve shown nothing but gentleness since arriving at the rescue. Beauty gave birth to seven pups shortly after arriving—all now in loving homes. These dogs are strongly bonded and the rescue will only adopt them out together. They are looking for a family with a securely fenced yard and a patient, loving approach. Both dogs get along with children and other dogs. They are large, inside dogs who crave trust and affection, and they will need a little time to adjust and learn to be part of a family.
