Meet Courage! Courage came to us when the dynamic in his previous home changed. Additional family members moving in was stressful for him. He is social with people and very affectionate once you are in your inner circle, but can take a while to warm up to change in environment or when meeting new people. He is looking for a home that can understand and appreciate the nature of a sensitive, affectionate cat. He will want to spend lots of time napping, cuddling, and looking out the windows to assess the activity outside (he loves those squirrels!). He will definitely want to sleep near you at night, so please be sure to have a nice cozy spot ready on your bed! With the recent changes in his household, he was experiencing some stress that impacted his day to day routines. In a new home, he will be looking for predictability and consistency including great litter box hygiene (cleaned frequently, in a convenient and quiet location), healthy meals provided on a schedule, and lots of interactive playtime to meet his social needs and need for activity!
