About Mary Anne
Mary Anne came to our shelter as a stray. She is an older girl with a lot of character. Mary Anne loves to explore and gaze out the windows. Not long after arriving at the shelter, we noticed she wasn't feeling well and suspected that she was diabetic. We were able to confirm that to be the case with a visit by a veterinarian. She is now on a prescription diabetes medication Bexacat (an oral tablet medication), and requires a special diet to help regulate her blood glucose level. Mary Anne is looking for a quiet retirement home where she can eat her meals, cuddle, and take all the naps she desires. She would prefer a home without other animals or young children running around. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an adoption application. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. We will discuss her special medical needs with potential adopters. Mary Anne has been placed in a foster home and is doing well there. We will need to set up potential adoption visits in advance for people to meet her.
