Snail (aka Prince) is a loyal, velcro-style companion with a huge heart and an even bigger devotion to his people. True to his nickname, Prince loves to keep a watchful eye on his humans and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. Snail is fully potty trained and does a great job letting you know when he needs to go outside. He knows an impressive list of commands including sit, stay, lay down, paw, back up, come, and even "pillow," where he’ll proudly go settle onto his designated spot. Affection is absolutely Snail’s love language. He’s the kind of dog who always wants to be touching his people in some way and will melt into ear rubs and cuddles. Despite his bigger personality, he has the softest, sweetest side that wins people over quickly. Snail is crate trained enough to go in when asked, but he definitely doesn’t consider it his favorite place and does best when he can still see his people nearby. He currently lives successfully with two other dogs and does well once he knows them, but slow and thoughtful introductions are important. His play style is rough, rowdy, and enthusiastic, so he would do best with dogs who enjoy that same energy and can match his play style.
