Meet Maggie, a resilient four-year-old French Bulldog who has overcome quite a bit. Weighing 22 pounds, she’s got a heart full of love and refuses to let her past dictate her happiness. After enduring two TECA surgeries for her ears, Maggie remains a shining example of positivity. Though she had a painful mass left untreated, her transformation began when Freedom Frenchie Rescue stepped in. With their help, she finally received the care she deserved. Maggie is a social butterfly, believing that everyone is a potential friend. She adores people, enjoys the company of children, and gets along well with other dogs. Maggie might even treat cats as part of the family right away. Maggie’s foster mom affectionately calls her a Velcro Frenchie because she loves being near her people, whether during chores or while lounging on the couch. She’s playful, loves toys like her favorite chew bone, and enjoys soaking up the sun in the yard. This smart girl quickly learned house rules thanks to her foster's guidance, and even though she's not a fan of the crate, she's learning to settle in. Despite some facial paralysis from her surgery, which may require ongoing eye care, it doesn’t dull her joyful spirit. Maggie can still hear you, just speak a bit louder.
