About Paco
Paco, also known as Paco the Pirate, is a 22-pound French Bulldog with a knack for taking life easy. He's missing one eye, but Paco wears it well—his current struggles with glaucoma haven't slowed his love of snacks, naps, or a good couch day. He's been adapting in foster care, moving from California to Arizona, settling in as the resident expert on relaxation. He prefers quiet routines, low-stress days, and plenty of company, though he won't demand your attention all the time. His house training is a work in progress, and he’s not fully crate trained yet, but every day is a step forward when patience and structure are part of the routine. Paco’s vision changes mean he needs a slow, structured introduction to new environments and dogs—he stands his ground if he feels cornered, but he’s not a fighter. Success for Paco starts with a family willing to offer time, security, and calm as he continues adjusting to his new normal. After eye surgery and a tough recovery, he’s shown just how resilient Frenchies can be—never letting setbacks stop him from seeking love (and treats). Paco is looking for a home where relaxed days, soft blankets, and kindness are guaranteed. Give him patience and a safe place to land, and he’ll be a loyal, gentle presence for the right adopter.
