Although she can be a bit shy and nervous, she’s gentle and gets along with other dogs and respectful children. Nellie is currently in a foster home in northeast Nebraska and is in the process of leash training. She may need extra patience as she settles into her new environment, particularly when meeting cats. While she’s been introduced to them, her excitement when they run can be confusing for her. At this stage, Nellie is best suited for an experienced home that can support her in building confidence. She’s been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Nellie really needs a secure, physically fenced yard where she can feel safe and explore. This curious girl has great potential—the right family can help her thrive!
