AvailableEvie is a young, spayed female American Wirehair with a short Dilute Tortoiseshell coat. She's house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Evie prefers a calm environment and will thrive in Sautee Nacoochee, GA. Although she's still building trust, her potential for blossoming in a loving home is clear.
About Evie
Meet Evie. This quiet beauty has an unknown past, but she is ready to take her next steps. Evie spent more than a year with us after being surrendered as a completely feral kitten. Vulnerable and scared, she just needed a safe place away from the dangers faced by feral cats. When she arrived, Evie shared her space with other kittens but often hid whenever people came around. One of our thoughtful team members decided to move her to the calmer cat room. The transformation was incredible! Evie started to mimic the calm vibe of our older kitties almost immediately. While she isn't ready for pets or purrs just yet, she now walks around calmly—no longer hiding when humans are present. Progress! Evie needs a quiet and patient home, one that respects her pace. Although many may be tempted by her beauty, she requires a special kind of family to help her understand she is safe. A home with another calm cat could help her learn that everything is okay. Whatever trauma she experienced as a young kitten still lingers, but we see her readiness to move past it. It may take weeks or even months for her to fully trust again. If you are an experienced cat person willing to give Evie the time and space she needs, she will be grateful for your love. Ready to welcome Evie into your home?
