Meet Apollo On Friday, one of our volunteers spotted a skinny little puppy scavenging from trash bags just feet from a busy road. She immediately stopped and opened her car door, this sweet boy tried to climb right in. Over the weekend, our volunteer worked to get him to safety, and today we were finally able to bring him into our care. This little guy is now safe . After three baths, we were finally able to see the extent of the scarring and old wounds covering his face and body. We don't know exactly what he has been through, but it's clear that life has not been easy for him. With his beautiful blue eyes and gentle nature, Apollo is already winning hearts. He is settling into a loving foster home where he is learning how to play, relax, and simply be a puppy. Apollo loves people, but after being bitten by another dog in his previous home, he needs a little time to build confidence around other dogs and learn that play can be safe and fun.
