Meet #Chase! Can we all agree that this little face is absolutely irresistible? Meet Chase, a 3-year-old, 10-12 pound bundle of scruffy cuteness who recently came into our care as an owner surrender. Like many owner surrenders, there is a long story behind how he got here, but were not focused on the past. Were focused on finding him the right future. Chase is understandably a little overwhelmed right now. Going from a home environment to a shelter filled with barking dogs, unfamiliar faces, and constant activity is a big adjustment for any dog, especially a little guy who has spent his life in a home. About Chase: Approximately 3 years old 10-12 pounds Potty trained Uses pee pads Dog friendly Has lived with another dog, including a larger dog Sweet little guy who enjoys his people No cats Adult-only home Because we have been told that Chase does not do well with small children, we are looking for an adult-only home where he can feel safe, secure, and comfortable. Like any dog entering a new environment, Chase will need time to decompress and settle into a routine. Once he realizes he's safe, we know his personality will continue to blossom. The shelter is no place for a little dog like Chase. Every day, we see him trying to navigate all the noise and commotion, and we can't help but think how much happier he'd be curled up on a couch beside someone who loves him. And seriously... look at him. That adorable scruffy beard. Those soulful eyes. That sweet little face. He is the definition of a super-duper cutie patootie. We're hoping someone will see beyond the shelter setting and give this little guy the second chance he deserves.
