Meet Matilda, our beautiful senior dog with a heartwarming spirit. Matilda was found as a stray, and it’s heart-wrenching to think of how she ended up alone in her later years. Upon her arrival, it was clear that life hadn’t been kind to her, but she’s slowly getting back on track medically, and each day she seems to shine a little brighter. Despite her past, Matilda greets everyone with a big, beautiful pittie smile and no trace of bitterness. Senior dogs like her love deeply and don't ask for much—just a safe place to lay their heads and gentle hands to pet them. She deserves that chance to feel loved and secure again. While Matilda prefers to be the only pet and has not been tested with cats, we believe she would do well with older, respectful children, thanks to her calm and gentle demeanor.
