Meet Rocky! Rocky's journey began at a hunting camp where his mom was being fed and cared for by kind-hearted people. One day they discovered she was pregnant and reached out to Our Pet Project for help. Our rescue stepped in, and thanks to that, Rocky and his siblings got the chance they deserved. Today, Rocky is a thriving 5-month-old puppy living in one of our wonderful foster homes in the Houston Tx area, where he's learning new things every day and showing everyone just how smart he is! We believe Rocky is a fantastic combination of Border Collie, Lab, and Husky mix which gives him intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, and a loving personality. Here is a little more about this beautiful pup: *5 months old (born January 13, 2026) *Believed to be a Border collie/lab/husky mix - mom is a border collie/lab (dad most likely husky) *Up-to-date on his vaccinations *Kennel trained *Doing amazing with potty training - about 85% successful :) *Knows his name *Great recall *Sits on command *Rides great in a car *Loves learning new things *Great with dogs of all sizes *Good with cats *Loves people of all ages Rocky is the kind of puppy that wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. He's affectionate, eager to please, incredibly smart, and always ready for his next adventure. While he loves to play and burn off energy, he also enjoys relaxing with his people after a fun day. What kind of home would Rocky love? Rocky would thrive with an active family that enjoys including their dog in everyday life. His Border Collie and Husky heritage means he's intelligent, athletic, and enjoys both mental and physical stimulation.
