Juniper
AvailableJuniper is a Border Collie mix with a medium build and striking blue merle and white coat. She is a spayed female, house trained, and fully vaccinated. Living in Houston, TX, Juniper has a medium-length coat and, while her age isn’t precise, she's about 5 years old. She requires some extra support due to her deafness and limited vision, but she's an incredibly smart and resilient dog.
About Juniper
Juniper is a sweet, roughly 5-year-old Border Collie mix with a lot of personality and a double merle coat splashed in blue and white. She can’t see much and is deaf, but that doesn’t hold her back—she picks up tap commands for "sit" and "down" fast and is always eager to learn something new. Tennis balls are her favorite, even if she can’t actually see them well. That mix of silliness and smarts is classic Juniper. Crate time is naptime for her, and she has a soft spot for cozy beds or soaking up some sun by the window. She’s made huge progress working with trainers and adapts well thanks to muzzle and vibration collar training. Her background on the street has left her wary of a few things, so she needs a patient home, with adults who have some dog experience and are ready to support her extra needs. She’s happiest when fed separately from people and other dogs, though she enjoys canine company during playtime. We aren’t sure how she’d do with kids or cats, but think she’s best matched with an adult-only home ready to celebrate her quirks. She offers affection, fun, and real resilience—a playful spirit looking for people who see her for who she is and want to help her shine. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
