About Fuji

If you are looking for a little lady to be the apple of your eye, look no further than creamy tan and white chihuahua, Fuji. As sweet as her namesake fruit, Fuji enjoys the company of other dogs and can sometimes be found curled around another canine companion. She also likes hanging out with the humans, and, like most people, enjoys being plied with compliments. Fuji can, in fact, tell what you're saying and, as they say, flattery will get you everywhere. If you're looking for a pooch to pamper, this cute chi has her ears perked for a hint of her forever family. Do you have an apple-sized hole in your home? Fuji is more than willing to fill it! Here's some notes from her foster: Fuji is just as adorable and cute on the inside as she is on the outside. Her little mouth is shaped like a permanent little smile, and it really fits her perpetually happy personality! She makes the funniest little noises when she gets excited and her curly tail goes in circles like a propeller. She also makes the cutest little squeaky noises from time to time when she is super content While these noises are small and cute, she does snore pretty loud, which is absolutely hilarious coming from her little body. She LOVES to snuggle in bed, and will curl up right beside me. Even when I am not in bed, she tries to get into my bed, despite the plethora of dog beds that would be way easier for her to lounge in! If she is really determined to lounge in the big bed, she will do her little squeak to let me know her wishes. She also loves walks and walking as fast as her little legs will let her. On walks she will soak up human attention, but isn't too concerned to get to know any other dogs. However, she has really bonded to my more extroverted dog, and has been her little shadow/copy-cat. If my dog gets excited, she also gets excited, even if she doesn't know what we're getting excited about! She has been very polite to my more introverted dog, leaving him alone and only attempting to cuddle and interact with my extroverted dog. She also does get quite curious, and loves to look out the window while she is sun bathing on my bed. When I put her in my lap to do some work, she decided she would rather explore my desk. She is very food motivated and a great eater, and has enjoyed trying different times of snacks. I think a perfect day for Fuji would be bed snuggles, walkies, food, REPEAT!
