**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. My name is Bluebell, and Im a 3-month-old Labrador Retriever mix. My mom is a beautiful Chocolate Lab, and I am officially ready to find my forever family! I'm a happy, social puppy who loves everyone I meet, including other dogs. I get very excited about mealtime and will happily vocalize my enthusiasm for breakfast and treats. Aside from food, my favorite hobby is chasing tennis balls. My foster mom says I'm very smart; I have already learned to sit on command and am making great progress with my leash skills. I'll be a pro in no time! I am looking for a family that has plenty of treats, a love for fetch, and a fenced-in yard to play in. A comfy bed would be the perfect finishing touch! Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
