Cindi "with an i", because she has one eye and we respect a branding opportunity, is about 9 months old, very petite, and absolutely lovely. She is the kind of tiny cat who looks like she should live in a fairy cottage, wear a little flower crown, and politely demand to be adored by everyone in the room. We all love her, and honestly, it's rude how easy she makes it. Cindi has a condition called microphthalmia, which means one of her eyes did not fully develop before birth. In her case, she has just one functional eye, but please do not tell her this is supposed to slow her down. She has already adjusted beautifully and is fully prepared to live a normal, happy, spoiled life as someone's beloved little shadow. Cindi just wants to be someone's everything, their couch buddy, their tiny supervisor, their snack-time witness, their emotional support eyeball, and the petite little queen of the house. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HORI/Cat - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
