**Meet Diego!** Diego is a 1-year-old Hound/Pit Bull mix with the sweetest personality. He absolutely loves getting pets and attention from his people. As a young dog, he is still learning about the world around him and experiencing many things for the first time. New things can make him a little unsure-like squeaky toys! The noise startles him, but his curiosity always gets the better of him, and he can't help but investigate. Diego came to us with a broken leg. After getting him to the veterinarian, we learned that the injury had occurred quite some time ago and had already healed on its own. Because of this, his leg is a little wonky, but it doesn't stop him from enjoying life and being the happy, loving dog he is. Diego is looking for a patient and loving family that will help build his confidence and show him that the world isn't such a scary place. In return, he'll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of sweet cuddles.
