Brownie is the kind of dog who lights up around people and other dogs alike, greeting every new face and every new situation with ease and excitement. He's great with adults, kids, and strangers of all kinds, and his foster has watched him get along beautifully with every dog he's met, big or small, including becoming fast friends with his foster sibling. He handles being left alone without any fuss and absolutely lights up when guests arrive. At night, he settles right into his crate, which he's taken to wonderfully, and he's just as happy chewing a bone on the couch as he is chasing a ball across the yard. Brownie's foster describes him as someone who simply wants to give and receive love, and that's the heart of who he is. He's already proven himself as a wonderful out-and-about companion, sitting calmly by his foster's side on coffee and lunch dates, and he'd thrive with an adopter who wants a dog to bring along everywhere. He does need multiple walks and playtime throughout the day to burn off his moderate energy, but he's adaptable enough to do well in an apartment as long as he gets that exercise. Whether the home is calm or active, has other dogs or not, Brownie's main requirement is simple: he wants to be close to his person.
